We understand the need for crystal clear communication, the need to focus on what needs to be done in the future rather than what has been achieved in the past, the importance of understanding the wider environment outside of the specific initiative, ensuring traceability of requirements from external regulations to completed solutions and how to effectively manage risks and dependencies.
Business case, cash flow and transaction modelling
We have significant experience in creating business cases with sophisticated cash flow and capital draw-down modelling. Whatever the size and scope of your project, we can create a model to explain the cash flows, NPVs, return on capital and other measures, illustrating a variety of scenarios whose variables can be quickly and easily updated.
Process automation
We have expertise in using “no-code” automation tools to replace complex legacy manual processes that are inherently risky with ones that are automated, auditable and fully documented. Such tools are an emerging technology that can have a major impact on productivity without the time and expense of major system changes. In our experience, it is often not necessary for end users to even require access to the tools, further reducing the likelihood of manual errors.
Target operating model design
We have been involved in the design of a number of operating models, often as a result of the introduction new regulations or products. We have assessed new operating model requirements and helped clients design the detailed processes, systems, data and workforce capability required to implement them.
Business process risk assessment and control design
How do you know whether your business processes are in control? Are you aware of the risks that your processes expose your firm to and are there mitigating controls? Averruncus has significant experience of reviewing, documenting and controlling operational processes. We help clients to effectively risk assess their processes and identify the mitigating controls needed to reduce risks to acceptable levels.
